Rich man today, Pauper Tomorrow?
Wah, today work is hell! Today was rushing a request from yesterday. When I was 3/4 done, then realised that there is missing data!
If its normal data, I still got ways to get it done. But this time, even me can't do a damn thing about it. Its Hong Kong's Payroll Data...
Elise wanted a report on last year's payroll data, splitted in monthly affairs. Was happily creating the report when the horror came to me. From September onwards, there are no signs of payroll data being loaded in to the system!
Alerted this news to Sanjeev, IA was taken. Deepak and Rama check the system for faults while I check with Erin on the way she loaded the data. Both Rama and Deepak reported back that there is nothing wrong with the system itself.
Check the trace file and found out whats wrong. Data was never loaded after September due to a file name error. Talked to Rama about this issue, realised that we cant get it done by today. Emailed Elsie that we are facing technical issues... (Good excuse!)
Then another request came in, went for a meeting. After meeting went to do some late nite short shopping spree. Cant imagine I spend $150 in less than 30 mins! LOL
Wanted to buy shoes, but don't have the shoes that I wanted, so never buy any. Bought a new belt, 2 new shirts, 3 pairs of socks and a ring. Forgot what else I bought...
Going to get a new phone this week. Still cant make up my mind. Nokia 8800 Arte, W960i, XDA Flame, N95... Someone help me make up my mind? Still cant bear to give up my N70. Got feelings le. Maybe turn it into a work phone, cant stand the crappy 3315...
Thinking of buying shoes at Friday, maybe will get it from Caterpillar or Timberland. Never really like those fancy dress shoes... So damn uncomfortable and ugly. Prefer dress boots. YES, there is something called DRESS BOOTS. Need to get another tie, although never really wear ties but still better to get it, just in case. Thinking of getting a new blazer next month. Most likely tailor made, Dad gonna bring me to tailor made some pants, so might as well then...
Smsed Liz today, asked can meet her tomolo or not. She said no cos her boss not taking off on weekdays, but she set a date on next Tues. Gonna tell boss I will not be taking any complicated query after 10 am at Tues, anything direct to Deepak. LOL
